Jay’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including contracts, real estate, title insurance, eminent domain, construction, zoning, environmental, and insurance.

• Jay serves as lead and supervisory trial counsel representing publicly (including Fortune 100) and privately held companies in complex business litigation.
• He advises clients on contracts, real estate, eminent domain, construction, zoning, environmental, insurance, and arbitration matters, as well as restrictive and non-compete covenants.
• His experience includes challenging tax incentive financed projects in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area, including the successful thwarting of a proposed TIF financed project to redevelop a major parcel of commercial property in St. Louis County.
• Jay is admitted to practice before all Missouri state courts, the Eighth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and the U.S. Tax Court.
