Dale’s practice focuses on all aspects of environmental regulation, litigation, and construction law.
Representative Work
- Dale counsels clients on regulatory compliance, permitting and liability issues arising under federal, state and local environmental statutes, restrictions, and ordinances.
- He regularly handles commercial and industrial real estate and corporate transactions and has worked with the Missouri Brownsfields Voluntary Clean Up Program since its inception nearly ten years ago.
- In construction law matters, Dale represents public and private owners and developers throughout the range of construction related issues, on both new construction and historic rehabilitation projects. His work includes drafting, evaluating, and negotiating contracts and structuring the resolution of disputes through claims preparation, negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
- Dale counsels developers, lenders, investors, and other clients on securing and using Federal and State remediation and historic tax credits and has represented clients in connection with the redevelopment of several significant downtown properties, such as the Renaissance Grand Hotel, The Merchandise Mart, Cupples Station Warehouse and The Paul Brown Building.
- Dale represents clients at both administrative and judicial levels on matters involving underground storage tanks, Superfund, and health and safety issues.
