Peter will practice in The Stolar Partnership’s Higher Education Practice Group as Of Counsel. His expertise and experience focus on the legal issues facing higher education institutions and sports law.
Currently Dean at Florida Coastal School of Law, Peter will continue in that role as he works with our firm. Peter has participated in the law school accreditation process as a member of site evaluation teams, including several as chair of the teams, and served on committees to help prepare universities for higher education accreditation. In addition, he has experience with coaches’ contracts, athlete eligibility issues, and collegiate athletic compliance matters, including Title IX matters. He has served on search committees for athletic director and coaching positions, as well as an institutional intercollegiate athletics advisory committee, and was involved in the representation of professional athletes in team and individual sports during the 1980s and 1990s.
