Following a one-year appointment as a staff attorney for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, Jennifer J. Raymond is returning to private practice with The Stolar Partnership LLP.
In 2000, Jennifer graduated first in her class at Washington University School of Law and joined The Stolar Partnership, where she worked during law school as a Summer Associate.
Utilizing mentoring from the late Judge Harold Satz, Jennifer advanced quickly as a lawyer in private practice, assuming various leadership responsibilities within the Firm. In 2007, she left the Firm temporarily to become a term-appointed Staff Attorney with the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. For the past year, she has participated in a broad array of appeals cases, including tax appeals, condemnation matters, prisoner appeals, and matters involving employment discrimination.
"I have very much enjoyed my time with the Court of Appeals and was able to gain valuable insights on the workings of the Federal court system," said Jennifer. "The knowledge I gained over the past year will, without a doubt, enhance my law practice and the experience with the courts will benefit the Firm's clients."
"Jennifer is an outstanding lawyer with a limitless future," said Charles Alan Seigel, Chair of the Firm's Litigation Practice. "We are thrilled to welcome her back to the Firm."
The Stolar Partnership LLP is a business law firm with several major areas of practice: Corporate Law; Litigation; Real Estate and Development; Tax and Estate Planning; Nonprofit Organizations and Higher Education; and Public Finance. The firm provides legal services to established companies, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, national developers, architectural firms, higher education institutions and municipal governments, as well as nonprofit organizations and individuals.
