Partner David Jay Krauss has been elected to serve on The Stolar Partnership LLP Executive Committee. The five-person committee, chaired by Harvey A. Harris, determines Firm policy and strategic direction. With an undergraduate degree in Economics, summa cum laude, from Washington University, David earned his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and joined The Stolar Partnership upon his law school graduation in 1976. In addition to his recent election to the firm’s Executive Committee, David is vice-chair of the Tax and Estate Planning Practice Department, co-chairs the Firm’s Nonprofit Practice and serves as President of the Stolar Family Office LLC, a Firm subsidiary exclusively dedicated to handling the “back office” personal business and family related matters of successful and distinguished families and executives nationwide. “Noting the Firm’s 50+ year history of success, which reflects its effective leadership and management,” David said, “I thank my partners for trusting me with a position on our Firm’s Executive Committee." "David has always been a key member of our Firm and a fantastic attorney,” added Harvey Harris. “With his election to the Executive Committee, we are pleased to have him now serve the Firm in an important management role.” The Stolar Partnership LLP is a business-oriented law firm with six major areas of practice: General Business; Litigation; Real Estate & Development; Tax & Estate Planning; Nonprofit Organizations; and Public Finance & Secured Transactions. The firm provides legal services to established companies, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, national developers, architectural firms, higher education institutions and municipal governments, as well as nonprofit organizations and individuals.
